Is that to say the drain or fault can't overcome the battery charger?! Verify that charger does work as a beginning.

You should use a multimeter or volt meter to see the car's output when it does run - report what you find.

Still has a drain somewhere by your description. Could even be the battery but a way to check is to unhook (neg cable) charge battery and see if it then holds charge or not.

Next - hook up a test light between disconnected neg battery cable and the battey's neg post. Make sure everything electrical is off and unplug any hood light. Light should stay unlit. Test by just opening door for interior lights and you should see test light light up - int lights won't.

If light is on with everything off you need to find the circuit. To do that hook up battery and disable interior lights - pull one fuse that should do that. Back to cable off test light hooked up again. If it lights then pull fuses one at a time and watch the test light. Chances are one of them will make light go out.

That's the circuit with the short or something's on and report what items it covers and start looking for problems in that circuit.

Note: Some funky problems are glove box, trunk etc., lights stay on when item is closed and you don't see it. Check power ports for junk in them too. Most battery chargers would overcome basic little lights so if it's working and that new battery is good it's a strong drain which should make finding it easier,
