I just got a used car (ford focus) and when I remove the key from the ignition, there is a flashing red light next to a triangle hazard button on the console. No matter what I do, the light will not stop flashing. Is it just supposed to flash always when the key is not in the ignition or is there a problem? Thanks for any helpful response. Some use things like that to scare away a would be car theif.
