I was also told that the starter could be blown or bad, though it was brand new. Any and all help would be hugely appreciated. Guest Anonymous Poster Mar 20, 2007, 10:23 PM Post #2 of 3 (2121 views) Re: engine won't crank Sign In check all the fuses, and make sure that none is blown. same thing happened to me and i replaced my starter for nothing when it had nothing to do with it. it was a short circuit wire that kept blowin up the start up fuse. Don't want to scare you but it could be your engine.
