i need to know what the ets light means on a 96 chevy cavalier. it's been coming on & off for about three years now. It has been getting worse as of late. the motor seems to bog alot when this light comes on.At one point the car wouldn't start. i had to pump the heck out of it then i got to run.As of right now it's running well. I believe it has to be this ets light that comes on cuz thats when the problem occurs.

do you have an ETS light and a check engine light illuminated in your dash????
the ETS is Enhanced Traction System....... so i wouldnt think it would have much to do with how your engine is starting.
