peugeot 306 2ltr HDI reg nov 1999
had a new hi presure pump fitted 28 12 2005 by dealer, they said the ecu had a fault but everything runs OK. We only do 5000 miles a year and it gets a service every 18 months it is about ready for one .
but today on a run back from coventry 80 mile round trip it cut out (just stopped when we were driving down a sliproad onto a carrigeway. after a minute the engine started but the autodinostic light is on, it seem to pull OK and is still economical, but takes a lot of starting. Were do i start?
