dtc for adodge dakota sport 3.9l igot zero volts off the connector that goes to the engine coolant sensor replaced thermostat still same problem, engine temp gage goes hot right after starting truck.please help.thx

P0117 is for the CTS low. Has nothing to do with the temp guage. If your engine is actually overheating, an air pocket around the CTS is possible, causing the code, but again would have nothing to do with it overheating or the guage reading. The CTS tells the PCM engine temp for fuel delivery. There is a 'one wire' sending unit for the temp guage. The CTS will be a two wire sensor.
