dome light stays on,switch on dash (one that dims and brightens dash lights also turns dome light on/off will not turn off dome light.need to know where door light switch located 2002 ford taurus and which switch is bad....thanks tonyp

the light switch for the doors are located inthe door itself, they snap into the door latch mechanism, my own experience has been that it is usually the driver front door since this door sees the most use but should be verifed prior to replacement, this is not a complex setup but that little switch is in a heck of a spot to get to inside the door
