im not sure if this is in the right place move if so..thanks..

ok i have a exaust and i got pulled over for suppose that is loud whice is not!! i had it for about 2 years now and i happen to pass by one cop that had nothing to do and harass me..i pass by so many cop and they dont say any thing..its not even loud.its a big extaus so yeah..

my question is do i need to put my old exuast back on befor i go to my local police staion so i can get my fix a ticket sing off so that i only have to pay a 10$ fee rather than just paying it off 130$.. then just put it back on when i get home.

Personally I support the job the police do in my area.
I guess you should 1st find out the db law in you area & have your exhaust checked. If it's under you shouldn't have to remove it. If it's over then it was a case of "one cop with nothing better to do than his job"
On a side note to give my opinion on your question. I was under the impression that on a fix it ticket violation. The violation needed to be repaired before you took it done. In that case you would have to reinstall your exhaust....

the exuast passes db law and its street legal..i guess my best thingto do is just put my old one back on and just go to my local staion and have them sing it off then put it back on..

might want to check with your local court....in new york you only have 24hrs to make the repair and get it inspected at your nearest station

When I was a teenager (yes, we had cars back then), I was giving a friend a ride home one night and got pulled over for not using a signal. My "friend" (and I use that term "friend" very loosely) said to the cop: "If you're going to give him a ticket for "that", you might as well give him one for the glass-packs". So, he did.
