creeking and clunking in right front Sign In

95 t-bird recently passed pa inspection everything tight in the front end but it started making a creeking noise when turning left or right also a clunk when turned sharp. i had jacked up the car on the oppisite side about a week before noise started and their was a clunk noise when i had the wait shifted to that side ,wondering if maybe i broke something when jacked up....

Check for the sway bar pins. You are at the age that they can just snap and wouldn't be noticed in most inspections. There are other names used for these like..... stabilizer bar, anti-roll perhaps but at any rate they are a bolt with four rubber bushings, washers and a sleeve. They rust and break. Funky to remove a rusted one and easy to install new and do both sides if one is broken,
