The way to access is by removing right front wheel , then the plastic splash shield. Then you will need to remove belt and harmonic balancer(need puller for this). The sensor is located behind that. You will most likely need a special alignment tool to align new sensor. If not used you will probably be doing the job again because exact alignment is a must. To my knowledge GM dealers are the only ones with this tool. I had same problem w/92 olds acheiva 3.3. Replaced it 2 times myself,trying to get alignment correct. got it very close 2nd time and it lasted about 6 months before the sensor gave out again.
