Try this: Have someone push hard towards closed on outside of door while both someone inside and out pull release handles then switch to push the door open. Latch could be stuck (guess of course) from just being tightly closed, some damage or unlubed parts and may open. Then lube the daylights out of the latch and test before closing it againCool

After enough attemps without it working - spraying WD-40 in thru anywhere you still can get some in and the push pull tricks, lock and unlock manually by key and inside then a mechanical problem no doubt exists. The hard part is taking off door panel with door shut. I don't know the car - does it look like you can do that without a disaster?

If you can get in you probably will find something broken like a rod that fell off and broken clip type junk and if not perhaps the whole latch needs to be replaced. Still need door open for that in everything I've seen out there and I've haven't laid eyes on a Clio.

If it's a real struggle I'd get a body repair shop to get it open and hope for the least damage in just doing that. They have funky tools and are springing bent doors etc from accidents all the time and kind of get a knack for it or may know tricks that I don't.

Don't know what else to suggest and wish you luck with it,

T
