Just be sure to only look for power in the center of bottom and if your tester hits the side you'll blow the fuse. If it was ever used for lighting cigarettes they fail quickly from dirt and corrosion and don't work well as a power port. You can get just a power port that will fit in the same spot. If any work had to be done in that area it might have been disconnected or used for some other thing over the years.
