Is it my Imagination or does chevy cars and trucks seem to have alot more problems with there fuel pumps than most other makers. I have owned cars by all manufactures but my chevys all have needed fuel pumps. If you check the posts on this site about fuel pump problems a high % are chevys. Guess Im just tired ff dropping gas tanks

We do about the same number of pumps on Fords, GMs, and Chrysler products. The biggest killer to electric fuel pumps is running the tanks low and not replacing fuel filters regularily. The electric pumps depend on the fuel level to keep them cool (supposed to be immersed in fuel) and if they are trying to push fuel thru a plugged filter.... Loren SW Washington

Chevy's defineately have a prob with their pumps, but also the connecters are a huge prob. Ever notice how you always get a new one with the pump. If you don't install it you are asking to drop that tank again.....
