Hi Guys,

My car was running fine and i thought of taking care of it, so I put the fuel system cleaner(lucas). now I have a check engine light for a week and it is flashing now. when it is idling the rpm is going too low and shaking.

any ideas appreciated.

That does suggest something dislodged and is now blocking proper flow thru the system, injector. You should hurry as that shaking is probably wasting fuel and possible raw fuel harming converter.

Get the code(s) read and suggest a pro "Moto-Vac" (brand named machine) injector cleaning w new fuel filter now,

Hi new here first post I have a 2000 EXP.did the same thing I had a blown injector just to let you know cost of injector was $ 275.00 not including labor. I used Wynns injection cleaner no problems. Hope this helped.

Thread is getting old but relevant. Folks should know there isn't much out there for snake oil in a can and much of it suggests using way too much of it IMO. Some stuff is helpful and really works. Can it make things worse - absolutely. They want to sell product and don't care what it does to your car,
