Car is a 206 1.4 hdi had my cambelt and water pump changed two weeks ago a week later I noticed I had a water leak so took car back to the garage and a couple of hoses were lesking. Hoses were at back of engine I could see it dripping on starter motor. Garage replaced hoses. I picked it up and it didn't start properly took ages ticking over then started garage said starter motor got wet would dry out. This morning 4 days later went to start car ticked over bout 5 times then started but then cut out. I jump started it and it felt really sluggish and smelt like I was reving accelerator then seemed to clear. Any ideas what could be wrong. Thank you in advance

Are we supposed to know what a "206" is? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

You really should have it towed back to your mechanic. Since this problem all started after they did some repairs, it may be a comeback. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
