car willnot start no spark to sparkplugs

1997 nissan 2.4 L I have check the timing it ok when you try and crank the car it will not firer.could it be the dist.pickup coil

The first thing you need to find out for me is if you have injector pulse and fuel pressure. You can check the injector pulse by plugging a noid light bulb (shown below) to any injector plug and cranking the engine. If the bulb flashes, everything is OK. If it doesn't, then check for power at one side of the plug with the key on.
