when i'm park and press on the gas the rpm raise up to about 3000 then drop t about 400 and the car act asif it getting ready to cut and sometime when i;m driving the car cuts off i have a chev malibu 99 2.4l mile 99395 now I had the Cal convertor replace but the car is not running right.

First---you should not rev the engine that high in park. What is happening there is not uncommon. For the cutting off part, you need to determine if it is losing spark or fuel causing it to die.
