car is a 1999 chevy monte carlo with a 3.9L V6 auto trans.

car starts fine when cold but after you run it for 20-30 mins it will not start again for atleast 2 hours. it just clicks and the head lights flicker. like the solinoid would do if it was bad. why does it do this when hot not cold or always?

thanks

Must be International battery, battery cable connection problem week. I'd begin with checking, cleaning, battery cables at battery and the starter and engine block. There's a chance of a problem with battery or starter/solonoid and not sure how any of this relates to engine temp and the wait time before it behaves on its own??
