I bought a CX7 Mazda 2007 last year and for the second time, it has smoke coming out of the muffler. Could somebody tell me where the problem is? Do you think I bought a bad car? I think that a new car wouldn't do that to me so soon.

There are some conditions where moisture can do that temporarily and be normal but worth fast investigation. Check engine coolant and oil for which if either is low or does either or both consume any routinely?

What color is the smoke? Is there residue in the tailpipe?

Thank you for replying Tom.
actually the smoke is write , and there is a water residue at the tailpipe. I took the car to the dealer repair shop, and they told me that they had to replace the valve; what bothers me is this is exactly what they told me the first time.
