I have a 95 chevy lumina, I've had an oil change, tune-up, but when I am at a stop the car seems to jerk when it starts to go. someone told me it might be my fuel filter, the car not getting enough gas but i don't know. It also hits at 55 and it also jerks. what could it be??? before i send it to the car repair.

I'd recommend replacing the fuel filter, regardless, if it's been very long since the last replacement. Where I live, changing the filter at least once a year is a must, due to the alchohol in the fuel, here.
You mentioned a 'tune up'. Can you let us know what was done and which engine you have in the Lumina. There are a multitude of reasons that can cause your symptoms. And, will probably require technical diagnostics.
