I have a 1998 kia sportage,the coil is cracked,and there is a leak around the spark plugs, would this have caused the coil to crack? please I'm in desperate need of help.

The coil probably craked due to fatigue of the coil housing. If the spark is arcing from around the plugs, I recommend wires, plugs and , yes, a new coil.
Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
