Might be your ABS kicking in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Live in those conditions and if not familiar with driving on ice and snow take some time and practice. Don't count on any traction control or ABS to help for crap on most ice. There are dozens of types of slippery on ice and snow. The closer to 32F or the ultimate is a light rain on cold surface = black ice. When VERY cold you get more traction as the ice/snow is drier. If you did don't ever use cruise control on wet or snow/ice conditions! Depending on situation and the conditions brakes or throttle are your worst enemy and can if wheels are totally locked up (brakes) you will have ZERO steering. If things are bad enough just find the right place to be and wait it out as of course an accident is worse than the delay, T
