broken right side view mirror from case

Hi everyone, I was parking into the garage and accidentally was a little too close, so the right side view mirror bumped into the wall. I decided, stupidly, to back out again, but instead this bent my side view mirror the other way, and the mirror slightly detached itself from the case. It is still slightly attached, but part of it isn't and so it is hanging and bends over. I drive a Honda Accord. The maneuvering of the mirror left or right and up or down works is still working fine, but since it is dangling it doesn't necessarily "work", if you understand what I mean. Any help on how to repair it would be GREATLY appreciated; could I glue the broken part simply back on?

If you don't mind UGLY! You can usually get broken parts back in proper place anyway with "Permatex's Clear Adhesive Sealant" It's gonna take a day to be strong in room temps or so. Use good tape to hold the mess in place while drying. Otherwise - try for aftermarket whole units. It's a popular car and some are out there far less than a dealer new one complete, T
