There is a leak in the system that you need to find. It could be one of the hydraulic component or it may be just rusted out brake lines. Either way, it needs to be inspected thoroughly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

You won't likely find anything on the ground. This is a small quantity and probably quite slow. You need to have to car inspected thoroughly, including pulling all the wheels and dust caps on the wheel cylinders. They will also look for stains at the back of the master cylinder. There is no question that you have a leak. It just has to be found.
