i have 2003 ford escaped, i notice in the past two
weeks when i drive on the freeway and have to brake
i get some slight jerking, (no longer a smooth brake)
is this a problem to come

By jerking, do you mean a pulsation (vibration) or is the car pulling to the side when braking?

Is that an expensive repair? is this somethig that can wait or should i address asap

Of which symptoms are you referring? Pulsation, vibration, pulling, shimmey in the steering wheel?
