Re: brakes Sign In

Just pads thrown in for front brakes? What were the old ones like at that time. Sensors shouldn't be making the noise but anything brakes/bearings could. Rotors ok?

pads wasn't bad. every thing looked good. it makes a noise about 80% of the time.

Re: brakes Sign In

Is this noise just since the pad replacement?

Re: brakes Sign In

Perhaps it's me but something is all wrong here. Here's what I see from this thread:

You had some noise when applying brakes and a brake shop replaced pads and sensors (is that anti-lock sensors?) with an overall assessment that brakes are good and were ok when this was done. No mention of other brake parts serviced or replaced.

Same noise exists 80% of the time when brakes are applied and a brake shop is now sending you to a dealer.

Granted, the noise may be elusive and may not even be a brake item causing this noise but any of several other possibilities.

This is to say a shop that does brakes has no idea of what could be causing this noise and tells you to just go somewhere else? Not very professional or something is missing from this scene,

T
