What year, make, model? Rear drum or disc?
More than likely, it's a brake problem. It's possible that it's a front end problem, also. Should have both inspected.

Re: brake problem Sign In

With Loren on brakes being the most likely but check front end parts as well. If this is RWD only then I'd spin both front wheels while hoisted and they should coast for a bit when spun. One probably won't - so the brake needs total inspection, caliper, hardware, pad wear/condition, bearings, flex hoses (hard to see defects internally) and they match side to side.

Chances are this could use a total front brake overhaul especially including calipers and flex hoses on the list - both sides.

Rear inspection should include parking brake and adjustment. I find rear brake if dragging doesn't make the vehicle "pull" so much as described in first post,

I had that problem once, only it was a broken router and not my brakes. If you take the tire off you will be able to tell.
