brake light and turn signal problem Sign In

i have a 1994 ford mercury cougar with a brake light, emergency light and turn signals problem and will not work. fuses in fuse box under dash have been checked and light bulbs have been checked any suggestions are greatly appreciated. thank you

Have you checked the multi function switch(turn signal switch)? All the lights that do not work are routed through that switch.

where is this switch located and what exactly does it look like? thanks for all your help

It is the switch on the sreering column that makes the turn signals work. It is easily replced nd not too expensive.
