astra exhaust light

took my astra to quik fit exhaust light came on they done a diagnostic test and told me it was to tecncal for them and to take it to main dealer something to do with the gases what is the problem.????

You’ll need to take the vehicle in and have the computer scanned to begin the diagnostics. This doesn’t necessarily mean the dealer; but someone that has the equipment and is familiar with this type of vehicle and its electronics.
Short of that it’s anyone’s guess as to what caused the light to come on; there are literally hundreds of reasons as to why.
