astra backfires pulls back and battery drains down

vauxhall astra 1.4 car pulling back and backfiring ,new battery keeps being drained down,and iv also tried another battery that worked fine on other car but gets drained down after a day and then everything starts to go slow ,eg wipers lighghts fade ,and then compleate failure,(]had a full service of plugs leads air filter and oilfilter ect.but im still having same problems( help!)

Charging system problem. Alternator, voltage regulator, loose belt or wiring connection(s) high on the list of things that could cause all that,
