antenna replacement

i have a 1999 mitsubishi with 157,000 miles with a v6 3.0 liter. the antenna is broke at the base i want to know if there is an easy way to replace the antenna. it still retracks up and down the metal part of the antenna is broken so when it goes up the antenna just dangles to the side of the truck. i just don't turn the radio on for now but i would like to know if i could replace this or if i really have to pay 200 hundred dollars to have this repaired. thanks
