i just changed the rear struts on my 98 chev malibu. do i need to aline wheels after.

In theory changing rear struts on this car shouldn’t change the alignment the adjustments are made elsewhere but for the cost of an alignment it never hurts to be sure.
Look at it this way an alignment is cheaper then a set of tires, let alone the stability in the handling and steering.
