acura integra gas mileage Sign In

Hello. My 1999 Acura Integra should get at least 30 mpg highway. I have only been getting 21 mpg since I purchased it a couple years ago. What could be the reasons for such drastic difference in mpg? Air filter, tire pressure, fuel injector cleaner, have all been considered. Thanks for any help.

According to fueleconomy.gov 21 mpg is your average city mileage 29mpg highway. Your will only get 29 mpg if you drive under 60 mph. Aggressive driving (speeding, rapid acceleration and hard braking) wastes gas. It can lower your gas mileage by 33 percent at highway speeds. http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/bymodel/1999_Acura_Integra.shtml
