You need to have the ABS system checked for diagnostic codes. You need to find a place that can read the codes. That ABS system does not have a way to check codes without a higher end scan tool. It could also be something fairly simple. Worn out brake material, low fluid, small leake, bad master cylinder. There are a lot of other things that it can be besides the ABS system.

It's the ABS module that you should be scanning for ABS codes. That would have nothing to do with the ECU. Powertrain codes won't help you at all. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
