Hi all....I want to purchase a used truck 1995 sonoma, and wanted to have a mechanic check it out before I hand in the green...I am getting it from Reading Pa...would you recommend the local mechanic shop , the manufacturer dealership or one of the major chains as Pep Boys , Strauss etc..Any advice is welcome..Thank you

If you have a current mechanic or garage I'd use that one; you've already established a relationship. Be sure to tell them what you are doing. Personally, I'd stay away from chains other may decide otherwise.
