Iv done a lot of work on my vauxhall vivaro van lately for the test and it unfortunately it failed on an airbag light!! took the van to my local mechanic got him to diagnose it and the fault that showed was -'driver seat pretensioner', got pretensioners fitted to no avail got the wires below the seats checked to no avail. Eventually i was told by my mecanic to bring it to the main dealers for a diognosis costing 90 . The main dealer told me i need a new airbag control module at a cost of 500. screw that!!! Went to the car dismantlers and got one for 50! just wondering do you have to get a second hand module reprogrammed to my van or can i just plug it in and will the fault go away, and would i have to go main dealers for this?
