What would be a good working torque range for impact wrench.NOT max torque range.I know that max torque is worthless. If you want to know what i need it for i will be trying to break rusted bolts loose. And lug nuts.I already tried 230 max torque and it was crap.I was looking at a farmhand brand impact wrench at tractor supply company it has 450 lb max and 50-400 working torque. And i don't want ingersoll rand to expensive.Just encase you wanted to know.

Didn't quite know what your inquiry was all about?? Air wrenches are nice for removing sticky nuts and bolts. The torque is a bit elusive and not always your friend. The "impact/rattling" effect is what really help to start rusted stuff with less chance of breaking them than steady force.

Speaking for myself - I don't suggest using impact wrenches to tighten to a specific torque -EVER! The best tool I know of for rusted nuts/bolts when possible and practical is oxy/acet torch but that harms the strength rating of nuts/bolts (as if rust doesn't) and most when heated should be replaced.

Air tools require a known air supply with both psi and cfm, critical to performance,

T
