What's wrong my 99 Buick park Ave Sign In

ervice light is on p0301 cylinder1 misfire but when I turn it on it makes a knocking noise can't explain. Coming from the belt area just started a few weeks ago when it started cutting off on me while I was driving not going past 20-30mph with foot all the way down clunking noise getting louder as I drive and just the other day when I parked it after it cut off again it started smoking from the hood. It'd my neighbors car all I know is that she had a little more oil on the stick and her serpentine belt is somewhat cracked. Any idea what it can be? Sometimes it's hesitant to even start not anymore though now since it's been left alone it starts up with no problem . Oil psi is 12-15 idle cold start. It's a fast constant kakakakakkakaka knocking type of noise I've been told water pump harmonic balancer belt pully etc I just want the exact issue please thanks

I suggest you get an on-site diagnosis. You won't find an answer on the Internet where nobody can hear it.

Curious: Where did you get the oil pressure reading of 12 PSI while cold? Right after start up at engine or some dash gauge? Either way if that's running and true that engine should be cooked by now - all over probably all sludged up.
Thru the typo it's your neighbor's car? Let them take it in for a final diagnosis I can only guess you are hearing about total lack of lubrication of critical internal engine parts.
Nice of you to try to help but it's not yours so would pass on messing with this one highly suspect this car is done with,
