Which struts should I buy?
I drive 50 miles per day, 40 of those miles are highway at 60-90 mph.
I will keep the van for several years.

An Astro doesn't have struts. It just has regular shocks. It probably depends on what you use it for. If you are not carrying a load, then the Sensa Trac alone would be find, if they are even made. Last I knew Sensa Trac didn't have truck applications. You don't want anything too heavy duty if you're not carrying a load or the ride will get too stiff.

I see now that they made the Magnum truck shocks into Sensa Tracs. They may be a little to stiff for a passenger vehicle. The Monroe-Matics may give you a better ride.

Don't expect miracles with shock replacement. All the shock's job is, is to control up and down movement of the tire. It's not going to change the basic handling characteristics of the truck. They just remove the bouncing of the suspension. The stiffniss of the shock has to be matched to the load they are carrying. If you carry a heavy load, it will take a stronger shock to slow down the bouncing but without weight, that same shock will make the truck feel stiff. Monroe as a brand is one of the best as far as i'm concerned. I have been installing them for years.
