Water leaking under hood '02 Grand Prix

Water puddle underneath hood of '02 Grand Prix...don't know if it's a/c related or possibly water pump? the drip hits the floor straight down from where the base of the windshield sits. I don't know where the water pump is even located. My most recent drive with the car I didn't have a/c on, and didn't notice anything different with temperature gauge. Thanks for the input.

Check all fluid levels.
A/C does make water which normally drip to ground under about where passenger's feet would be. Test the puddle with a clean towel or tissue for color and if it dries out it's plain water. Anti-freeze should have some color and won't dry out so fast and will feel a bit slippery in fingers.
A/C could have kicked on without request especially if defog or defrost was used and sometimes with other settings.
FYI: Water pump is located at the engine end of the lower (larger hoses) radiator hose or very near there,
