I couldn't find specifics on this car but a good look will tell. Can you even get your hand on the boots at the plugs? It can be a hassle without some fancy tools and sometimes (don't know for this model) you need to tilt engine and things like that! The car started sputtering and an occasional backfire a week or so ago, check engine light came on two days ago, I stopped by Advanced Auto today for them to read the code. What he told me was it needs a tune up. Before I replace the coil pack, I want to change the plugs and wires first. Does this make sense? You could just mist (water) the coil packs and area high voltage stuff and see if you see problems that show right up when damp.
