You can remove the oxygen sensor from the exhaust and test drive to see if your power is restored. (leave the sensor plugged in so you don't set a trouble code). Of course, there are other possiblities as well. Plugged fuel filter, ect. The transmission is electronically controlled by the PCM, so if the engine isn't running right, the trans shifting can be affected.
