I base this on your statement as it only happens during braking. If the steering wheel shakes left to right when you hit the brakes. I would have your front rotors checked. If they are warped, replace your rotors and brake pads. There are different priced brake rotors on the market. Make sure you buy the more expensive rotors, made in the USA. The cheap rotors will not last. dave284 Enthusiast / Moderator Jan 14, 2008, 12:39 PM Post #4 of 4 (3259 views) Re: Toyota Shakes when I brake Sign In These guys are correct, to cut cost the rotors could be turned or machined meaning that a shop would shave them down abit. cost around $10.00 -$15.00 each if you take them off your self.
