I base this on your statement as it only happens during braking. If the steering wheel shakes left to right when you hit the brakes. I would have your front rotors checked. If they are warped, replace your rotors and brake pads. There are different priced brake rotors on the market. Make sure you buy the more expensive rotors, made in the USA.
