Toyota Landcruiser 2000 - Car resists when turning Sign In

This problem started yesterday. I am not sure which forum it should go under as I have no idea what the problem is. Basically when you turn the wheel hard in either direction the car lags, almost as if you had the handbrake on or something. It does this if you are going forwards or reversing. I checked the power steering fluid, thinking maybe that had something to do with it, but all the fluids are fine. The tires are a bit low, but I know by the way it feels that couldn't be the problem. Any ideas would be very appreciated.

I would check to see if the system has a power steering pressure sensor in there. If it does, that could be your problem. It should raise the rpm's a little to keep that from happening.
