Hi all,
I have had an issue with my ignition for last few days. The key seems not to turn all the way to start the car after i put it in the ignition. It turns just slightly and feels that its locked. Sometimes it takes a few minutes of gently jiggling the key, and then it will go on to start the car. Sometimes its 'locked' for much longer and obviously is a pain.
Just a note: the steering wheel is NOT locked (i can still turn it even thou its somewhat difficult to do so). I have tried a second key but that did not help. I dont know very much about cars, even less about how ignition works but it would seem to me something is wrong with just that.
Let me know what you think, and i appreciate any and comments / hints.
