Town& Country Van - key will not turn

We have a 1999 Town&Country van and the key will not turn at all in the steering columne key switch. The van ran fine yestersday afternoon. Any suggestions?

Ignition Key Will Not Turn And/Or Cannot Be Removed MODELS:
1997 - 2000 (NS) Town & Country/Caravan/Voyager OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves performing one or any combination of the following procedures; cutting a new ignition key, and/or adjusting transmission shifter cable, and/or replacing the ignition lock cylinder and/or replacing the ignition lock housing and switch assembly.
Basically it states to try to turn the key,if it doesn't turn,turn the key over 180 degrees,then retry,if it turns .have a new key made..
If it turns ok with new key,try it again 180 degrees...if ok try it repeatedly for smooth operation,if not ok then replace the ignition lock cylinder...
If it doesn't turn,replace the ignition lock housing and ignition switch assembly...Part # 04690523
