Hello! My 2010 Toyota Matrix Sport (2.4 L, 4 cyl, 110,000m) has been experiencing a high pitched cyclical grinding sound from beneath the car. It starts at random intervals, but always stops when applying the brakes. The passed two days it has been constant at low speeds unless the pedal is pressed. Any info to take to my mechanic would be great. Thanks! https://youtube.com/...?si=WCCQ5P41CPjo4shF

Sounds like your brake warning sensors are contacting the rotor. Have the tires removed and get a close look at the brake pads, both inner and outer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
