The Hood On My Car

The cable is loose inside of my car the opens the hood of my car. How do i get my car hood open. please HELP!!! It's a 1988 Cadillac Fleetwood Elegance,short body. My grandmother gave it to me befor she died.

You can with some trickery get it open with long screwdrivers from underneath or perhaps thru grille to replace or fix the cable. Whatever it takes get it working so you can check on fluid levels etc right away,
