My girlfriend has a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire SE I do beleive, and someone backed into her @ our apartment. Now it looks like just the dirver side tail light cover is broke and the balb is intacked. When I had her put the braks on, that side want' working. I guess my question is can I just replace a balb or is this one of those cars where you have to replace the entire assembly? FYI there doesn't look like there is a lot of damage to the light, so I don't know if its internal or what.

It's no doubt an assembly. I'd replace the bulb for now as it probably blew and decide on how to repair the lense or replace it. Short term solution is colored tape sold to cover holes in those - parts stores - even WallyWorld type places, T

like tom said the taillight is sold as a whole assembly. but in the meantime you can replace the bulb and use the colored tape that Tom said. also what you could do is get colored red bulbs for the taillight and tape repair to buy you some time and keep the Po-Po from bothering ya __________________________________________________ 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 Ford Ranger 2004 Toyota Corolla 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
